Tools needed: wrenches
Reasons for adjustment: The PUMGO features a unique adjustable steering system which allows the rider to customize the tightness of the steering. Generally, lighter riders will want the steering to be looser than heavier riders allowing for tighter turning radius, but also could make the board feel less stable at higher speeds.
Steps:
1) Flip the board so that the deck is face down on the ground.
2) Locate the steering adjustment screws and nuts on each side of where the A-frame center strut attaches to the gearbox.
3) To adjust the steering you must first loosen the nut that locks the steering bolt in place.
4) After loosening the nut, you can adjust the steering by loosening the adjustment screw so that the head does not make contact with the black rubber bushing on the gearbox. The greater the space between the screw and the bushing, the looser the steering will be.
5) After the adjustment screw is altered the nut should be tightened to hold the designated position in place.
6) Adjust other three adjustment screws evenly and make sure all nuts are tightened.
